Mádé Kuti, the grandson of mythical activist and the originator of Afrobeat, OluFela Aníkúlápó Kuti, (Fela) also affectionately known as ‘Abami Eda’; is endowed with every musical talent of his grandfather: a multi-instrumentalist (saxophone, trumpet, drums, piano and bass, etc.).

Mádé Kuti joins a legendary lineage in the history of socio-conscious African music, following in the tradition of his father (four-time Grammy nominee Femi Kuti); and uncle (Seun Kuti).

His debut single “Free Your Mind” a rhythmic jazz groove, confronts 21st century issues, through music, with an invitation to think critically, and a call for the emancipation of the individual consciousness.
