@SUCULTURA Thank you for publishing this. What Dr. Candia-Bailey and others have experienced is sadly the reality for most Black women professionals in the US, UK, Europe and elsewhere. The health and cost implications are far too great to ignore. As mentioned in your article, these stories must inspire us to do more, and be more intentional in Collective Action.

Le sue preoccupazioni per la discriminazione prolungata che le persone di colore affrontano, in particolare il razzismo, ignorate e oscurate dalle accuse di antisemitismo, e la sua rapida sospensione da parte del partito laburista, dimostrano l'esistenza di una gerarchia di discriminazione, in particolare all'interno del partito.

 

A mio parere, ciò che ha detto Diane Abbott non era intrinsecamente offensivo o ripugnante di per sé. Invece, è stato distorto da un media complice che è desideroso di demonizzare un convinto sostenitore del discorso sensato e dell'uguaglianza, usando uno slogan come antisemitismo.
