The Notting Hill Carnival is the largest street festival in Europe, with approximately 1 million visitors annually. What commenced in London, UK, as an inherently political space in 1959, is now a celebration of African culture, resilience and multiculturalism, with a carnival parade of glitter, assorted hues of bright shimmering sparkle and colour, through the streets of W10 and W11, in West London, UK.
